In 1979, Ed and Deana Banning decided to take a leap of faith and start a business called “Trinity Transport.” They ran the company for 12 years before taking an even larger leap of faith, selling the majority of the company to their children in the early 1990s. At this time, their children were aged 23, 21, 18, and 16.
Ed and Deana’s oldest son, Jeff Banning, became President & CEO of the company in 1991. In 2012, Trinity Transport changed its name to Trinity Logistics, to reflect its growth to a top third-party logistics (3PL company). Today, Trinity Logistics has nearly 300 Team Members in five Regional Service Center locations and 100 agent offices.
Despite the growth, the Banning family was adamant on protecting the Guiding Values of the company, keeping the culture of servant leadership alive.
With 40 years of experience and a relationship-driven team, Trinity is the 3PL partner to rely on.
