We know that many must remain on the “frontlines” to keep people safe and healthy. Because of this, we have been sharing our appreciation of those still out in public, hopefully making their days a little brighter during these tough times. What we are doing:
- Continuously gifting our carrier network with coffee or food on us
- Donating to local hospital networks for lunches for health professionals
- Donating to the Salvation Army to get lunches to school children that would be without while schools are closed
In times like these, we are grateful for what we can do to push through this epidemic together. We encourage you today to find a way to spread some cheer; whether that be through sharing a smile, a donation, or kind words. A Message from Trinity Logistics’ President, Sarah Ruffcorn
To our Customer and Carrier Networks,
We wanted to take a moment and thank you for everything that your business is doing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and assure you that we are here to keep you moving forward. We’re in this together.
At Trinity Logistics, we take the recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other government agencies very seriously. Last week, the CDC’s guideline was to avoid gatherings of 250 or more people. As of Monday afternoon, the White House has advised against gatherings over 10 people. Many states, including Delaware and Maryland, home to two of our office locations, have closed dine-in restaurants, fitness centers, and other areas where people gather.
We have invested heavily in our technology and infrastructure over the years, allowing us to be flexible and continue normal business operations in any event. Our Team can quickly pivot and provide best-in-class service from anywhere to our customers and carrier network outside of the office’s four walls.
As many of our Teams transition to working remotely, you will still have access to your Trinity contacts by phone, email, customer and carrier portal, and any other standard methods of communication.

Trinity Logistics has been closely monitoring all developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are taking the precautionary measures to support health and safety, as well as to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
As part of the consumer supply chain, operations cannot stop. However, we wanted to let you know the expectations of our shippers and carriers to take action to stay healthy, aware, and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Trinity’s Expectations of Our Carrier Network
To support health and safety, we expect carriers in our network to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 by taking proactive measures such as;
- Encouraging sick workers to stay home and seek medical attention if needed.
- Help workers understand COVID-19 and prevention.
- Increase sanitization by engaging in additional measures such as frequent handwashing, disinfecting commonly used items, and avoiding the touching of one’s face.
- Adhering to the guidance from Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, or other local officials.
Trinity’s Expectation of Our Customer Network
We understand increased precautions will be put in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Help us keep our carrier network aware and prepared of any additional measures required by letting us know.

In alignment with our core value of being a people-centric freight solutions provider, we wanted to update you on the precautions we are taking as a company regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The health and safety of our Team Members is of utmost importance while ensuring there are no disruptions in our level of service to customers or carriers.
We are ensuring Team Members have the necessary equipment and ability to telecommute with all access and capabilities should the need arise. In the past, due to weather conditions or other emergencies, we have successfully supported our customers and carriers with full teams and offices working remote. This would be no different.
Internally, Trinity has increased environmental cleaning and travel precautions are in place as we continue to monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other government agencies.
Trinity is prepared to help you navigate potential shipping disruptions due to COVID-19 through our Expedited LTL and Truckload capabilities. We will continue to monitor the impact to the industry and post updates to our blog, social media, and distribute information via email to keep you up to date.
