Trinity believes in empowering career growth, which can be seen in our long-tenured leaders in bringing in experts to round out its powerhouse Leadership Team. Our Team sets the strategic initiatives and finds solutions necessary to aid and empower the Trinity Team for success.
Sarah Ruffcorn, President
Sarah Ruffcorn is the President of Trinity Logistics, leading our people-centric company by serving and empowering others.
With 21 years at Trinity Logistics, it’s fair to say that Sarah is no stranger to the transportation business. In her various roles with Trinity, she’s led major changes including software implementations, department restructures, and executive realignment.
Knowing that people are our greatest asset, Sarah believes strongly in servant leadership. She coaches other young leaders to assist in their growth and success and actively serves as a member of the TIA Board of Directors.
Doug Potvin, CFO
Doug Potvin is the Chief Financial Officer of Trinity Logistics. In this role, Doug is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and back-end administrative functions with the goal of seeing Trinity’s team members and agents exceed both professionally and personally.
Before joining Trinity Logistics in 2006, Doug worked for 10 years for a vertically integrated Seafood Company where he was Controller and General Manager handling a wide range of functions and departments.
Doug also has had the opportunity to speak at the Freight Waves Conference and the TIA Tech Conference. And, on a Sunday morning you’ll find him preaching to and pastoring his local congregation.
Amy Proctor, SVP of Logistics Solutions
Since joining the transportation industry in 2003, Amy has served in a variety of roles ranging from dispatcher to department director. She currently serves as SVP of Logistics Solutions, overseeing Trinity’s managed services, advanced services, less-than-truckload, and truckload pricing. She’s passionate about servant leadership and has developed strong teams that can overcome the unexpected challenges and opportunities this industry presents.
Through it all, Amy focuses on driving growth and creating solutions that combine the talents of our team members with the vast network and innovation technology including directing the customer portal project. She also serves as Executive Director of the Trinity Foundation and chairperson for the Big Pink Volleyball tournament each year.
Hayley Dobson, SVP of Regional Service Centers
Hayley is SVP of Regional Service Centers, leading our RSC teams to drive growth and operational efficiencies. She started her career in the transportation industry in 2003 and has enjoyed holding several different roles within the company. Hayley has worked as a dispatcher, account manager, operations director, sales director and even had a brief stint in HR, before moving into her current role. This fast-paced industry comes with its own (often daily) challenges, but she has enjoyed the ride.
In her time with Trinity, Hayley has learned about logistics, servant leadership, and what it takes to develop a strong and successful team. She has built so many great relationships and friendships along the way, making this journey all the sweeter.
Mark Peterson, SVP of Business Development
Mark is Trinity Logistics’ Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mark has worked in every area of the transportation industry short of actually driving a truck. His experience varies from sales, brokerage, pricing, and agency development in modes including LTL, Truckload, Flatbed, Heavy Haul, Intermodal, Dedicated, Final Mile, Cold Chain, and Transportation Management.
In his leadership, Mark emphasizes building incredible teams. He’s motivated each to peak performance generating sustainable revenue growth while increasing yields. Here at Trinity, he works to establish and execute strategic vision. An avid Chicago Bear’s fan, Mark never misses an opportunity bring up da Bears.
Russ Felker, CTO
For the past 30 years, Russ Felker has been leading technology changes, not only as a CTO, but also as a founder and technology advisor, creating technology solutions for business problems. He’s worked with companies both small and large, international and national. No matter the industry, he’s always had a passion for using technology to improve customer experience and help companies allow their people to focus less on clicks and more on service.
Russ says that Trinity’s core focus on company culture and people is one of his primary reasons for joining the company. He’s thrilled to work with Trinity to bring technology solutions that will create more ways for people to connect, build relationships, and improve efficiencies.
Megan Morgan, CHRO
A native Delawarean, Megan Neal Morgan is a human resources leader with over 10 years of experience, she is currently the CHRO for Burris Logistics, leading HR Teams at both Burris and Trinity Logistics. Megan is a graduate of Wilmington University and is recognized as a Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resources Management. Prior to joining Trinity, Megan worked in the agriculture industry for eleven years and was part of a cross functional team to bring the first organic poultry harvest facility to Delaware and added more than 250 jobs in the community. Megan is an alum of Leadership Delaware, Inc., a founder of the Fund for Women and past board member of Habitat for Humanity, Sussex County.
Greg Massey, SVP of Agent Development
Serving as Senior Vice President of Agent Development, Greg leads Trinity’s award-winning freight agent program. Jumping from consumer banking to transportation, Greg brings a unique blend of experience to the team. This experience allows him to develop great relationships and drive his team to exceed revenue and velocity goals.
Greg is a firm believer in the servant leadership principles. His leadership challenges his team towards success. He also serves his community as co-chair of the Trinity Foundation’s Annual Heart & Sole 5k, serves on the Grand Staff for the Masonic Lodge of Delaware, and coach to the Lake Forest High School boys soccer team.
