Service Benefits

Arranging international shipments can be tricky and requires a lot of communication. If you are looking for a 3PL to help arrange your Full Container Load, Less than Container Load, door-to-door, or port-to-port services, we can help. Through relationships with freight forwarders, we can assist you with your air and ocean dry freight shipments.

Our relationships with select agencies can help you by:

  • Establishing a communication intermediary between you and freight forwarders
  • Forwarders we work with can assist with facilitating clearing customs for shipments delivering to the door
  • Offering additional cargo insurance
  • Providing access to U.S. customs-bonded storage for your less-than-container loads or air shipment while clearing customs

While Trinity is not a FMC-licensed Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI), and does not offer or otherwise arrange services constituting “Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier Services” or “Freight Forwarder Services” as those terms are defined in 46 C.F.R. § 515.2(h), (k) or “customs business” as that term is defined in 19 CFR 111.1, Trinity has established limited agency relationships with FMC-licensed OTIs and FFs relationships with third-party customs brokers who are certified with the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism to perform those services for its customers.
