Trinity Logistics, a leading third-party logistics provider (3PL), is proud to announce that it has been honored with the prestigious “Fiercely Good Award” by BlueTriton Brands Inc., a prominent player in the beverage industry. The award was presented to Trinity Logistics during BlueTriton’s Annual Carrier Meeting, which saw the attendance of over 150 carrier and 3PL companies.

“The BlueTriton Brands, Inc. 2023 ‘Fiercely Good Award’ is to recognize our colleagues that embrace being fearless business owners, boldly innovative, deeply committed, and fiercely good,” said Tilde Zimmerman, Transportation Procurement Director at BlueTriton Brands, Inc. “In 2023, Trinity Logistics went above and beyond what was asked or expected of them. We like to appreciate and recognize the efforts of those who collectively make us better. Thank you for being FIERCELY GOOD, Trinity Logistics Team!”

Zimmerman specifically recognized Trinity Logistics for its exceptional commitment to service and its invaluable contribution to a community initiative spearheaded by BlueTriton Brands, Inc. Trinity Logistics played a pivotal role in facilitating the delivery of a much-needed donation of water by BlueTriton to support a local high school football showcase in Broward County, Florida, demonstrating its dedication to making a positive impact beyond the realm of logistics.

Delivering the donation posed unique challenges, including the absence of a loading dock at the school premises and the logistical intricacies of offloading the shipment directly onto the football field. Despite these obstacles, Trinity Logistics executed the task with precision and efficiency, ensuring the timely and seamless delivery of the water donation.

Representing Trinity Logistics at the event were Fatima Adams, Director of Operations at Trinity’s Florida Regional Service Center (RSC), and Jared Lineweaver, Senior Sales Executive. Their presence underscored Trinity’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships and delivering exceptional service.

“We are deeply honored to receive the ‘Fiercely Good Award’ from BlueTriton,” said Adams. “This recognition stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment in providing exceptional service to our customer relationships. We are immensely proud of the solution our Team assembled and their dedication and resourcefulness in overcoming this challenging task.”

Trinity Logistics is grateful to BlueTriton Brands, Inc. for the recognition and remains steadfast in its mission to provide innovative logistics solutions while positively impacting the communities it serves.

Selected to receive the award by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, this recognition honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network. This year, there were over 400 submissions, the highest number of applications ever submitted.

“I am both honored and humbled to receive the 2023 Women in Supply Chain award,” said Sarah. “I have immense gratitude for all the coaching and support I’ve received throughout my years at Trinity. Thank you to the leaders and mentors I’ve worked with who have challenged and empowered me, to my Team who have trusted and supported me, and to my husband and family who have given me unwavering support and encouragement to live out my God-given gifts. Thank you all!”

Sarah has a 20-year tenure at Trinity Logistics, having started as a dispatcher in Carrier Sales and holding several leadership roles before being named President in 2019. Within her current role, Sarah works to ensure all Trinity Team Members, regardless of gender, have access to both leadership training and opportunities. Sarah, in all that she does, embodies all the company’s core values and is a worthy recipient of the 2023 Women in Supply Chain Award.”

While the supply chain industry is excelling at incorporating more women in the supply chain, there’s still more work to be done. That’s why four years ago, Supply & Demand Chain Executive launched this award to champion women who are making a difference and thank them for their inspiration to possible leaders.

“Sarah is a servant leader through and through,” said Anne Reinke, President and CEO of TIA. “She focuses on her team, and how to help them succeed, while still steering the ship of a large and complex logistics company.  We at TIA are lucky to have her on our Board of Directors, and this recognition of her excellence is well-deserved.”

There’s a famous quote by Carl Barks that says, “Work smarter, not harder”. This idea can make your personal life run smoother, but what about your business? Choosing to partner with a 3PL (third-party logistics), like Trinity Logistics, will save you time and increase the efficiency of your business.

Reduce Your Risk

If you’re selecting carriers on your own, are you examining their operating authority, insurance information, and safety ratings? Carriers in our network are checked in our system on a daily basis for compliance. You can feel confident that we will only place your freight with a qualified carrier.

Capacity Fluctuates

A lot. Changing regulations, rising costs of operating a truck, and disruptions in the industry are all affecting truck drivers. The natural ebb and flow of available trucks is difficult enough to keep up with. Shifts can happen overnight, so having a partner on your side fighting for capacity is key to success. We have access to a base of over 70,000 authorized carriers, meaning that we can always find a way to get your truckload freight from Point A to Point B, no matter the demand for equipment.

Time Is Of The Essence

It can be tedious to spend your day routing your own freight, tracking freight, and managing the day-to-day issues that can occur (delays, breakdowns, blown tires, etc.). Luckily, we’re experts and we can take this responsibility off your hands. We take care of any issues that arise so you can focus more on maintaining the core elements of your business.

Gain Peace of Mind

Partnering with a 3PL means you don’t have to worry about your logistics. Arranging freight transportation can be complex at times and that is where a 3PL excels. Because we work with a variety of industries, modes, and technologies, we know just what to do in any situation. Due to the nature of the business, we’re quick on our feet and able to adapt to changes. Our reputation and expertise speak for themselves, and you can trust that you’re working with one of the best in the business.

Find a New Solution

Partnering with a 3PL can present you with new and unique transportation freight solutions. You could consider consolidating your LTL shipments into one truckload shipment or get a supply chain analysis with Managed Services. A 3PL gives you that opportunity to see what may work best for your company, without all the extra work it would give you if you made that venture alone. And we have the expertise to see if there’s a different, better way for you to be shipping your freight while reducing your costs.

Everyone Else Is Doing It

According to a report by Armstrong & Associates, nearly 90% of Fortune 500 companies partner with a 3PL in order to simplify their lives and increase the efficiency of their business. Don’t be part of the other 10%!

Partnering with a 3PL will be beneficial to your company’s success. With our resources and expertise, Trinity can save you the headaches that come with logistics. Like Carl Barks says, “Work smarter, not harder”.

The chemical industry adheres to strict regulations with their products. With those regulations can come recalls and audits. To stay ahead of those headaches, traceability is needed in the supply chain for chemical manufacturers. Gaining traceability can help prevent possible recalls and offer preparedness for audits, while bringing many other benefits.

Shared Data

To get the greatest benefit from supply chain traceability, data needs to be easily shared across supply chain partners. The use of technology for end-to-end supply chain traceability is vital for recording and exchanging data with all. Having transparency amongst all supply chain partners brings accountability and trust.

Replace Manual Processes

Even today, a lot of traceability processes are still manual. It often takes contacting many individuals through phone or email to get the information you need. Using technology for traceability in the supply chain helps eliminate those manual processes. With current technology, you can find the information you need in minutes with one application.

Improve Customer Service

With all supply chain partners having transparency, there is great potential for customer service to be improved. Distributors can better manage their delivery times, improving communication and customer satisfaction. Retailers can provide consumers with access to product information, building loyalty and relationships. Shippers can see shipment activity and schedule heavy or light volumes, creating happier transportation partners. From end to end of the chain, it improves consumer satisfaction.

Quick Problem Solving

Traceability allows you to be more proactive should you need to cancel an order, stop a production cycle, have products re-inspected, etc. It gives you the opportunity to quickly detect problems and deliver greater service by providing solutions and visible communication right away.

Better Stock Management

Easily meet customer demand by knowing what is going on within your supply chain. Tracking and tracing shipments and orders leads to more efficient stock management. With better management brings the potential for costs savings.

Traceability With TMS

Transportation Management Systems (TMS) are one of the technologies available to gain traceability in your supply chain. They allow function and resources for all supply chain stakeholders. To reduce cost, working with a third-party logistics (3PL), such as Trinity Logistics, can give you access to their TMS technology, as well as their experience in supply chain solutions.

Creating a connected supply chain adds value and strengthens those relationships with all stakeholders. It makes a company more desirable to work with and to buy from. The smallest of details can make a difference in the success of a company. Traceability is one of those finer details in your chemical supply chain that you can’t be without.

If you’re ready to make a move towards having traceability in your supply chain, connect with us and find your solution.

Find your solution

Whether you’re a large corporation coordinating dozens to hundreds of shipments a day, or a small family-owned business shopping for the best way to ship your product monthly, a third-party logistics (3PL) company like Trinity Logistics can help you find your best logistics solution. While our most popular service is coordinating truckload shipping, there are several logistics solutions to suit businesses with shipments of all shapes, sizes, methods, and budgets.

What Services Does Trinity Offer?

As a 3PL, we have a network of more than 70,000 authorized carriers to coordinate freight services for our customers. We can arrange:

Find the Logistics Solution You Need

TRUCKLOAD

Access our network of 70,000 authorized carriers for your dry, temperature-controlled, hazmat, or flatbed shipping needs. We arrange the transport of your freight and track it from origin to delivery.

LTL

Can’t fill a truck? We can help optimize your smaller-scale shipments. Live track your freight delivery time so you can manage your inventory with our free LTL software. Additionally, consider using LTL CSP or customer specific pricing. CSP can offer you savings on LTL freight costs, reduce dock congestion, and have you be less impacted by annual carrier general rate increases.

WAREHOUSING

Whether you’re securing seasonal warehousing, overflow storage, or planning an entire distribution network, we can help. We’ll select the best warehouse space for your needs and negotiate the most competitive pricing for your project. We can also find warehouse space or cross-dock space in an emergency situation, in any state or city.

MANAGED SERVICES

Gain control and visibility to your supply chain, reduce costs, improve performance, and increase efficiencies with our Managed Transportation technology solutions, or TMS.

INTERMODAL

If your shipments need to travel more than 750 miles, Intermodal shipping (via rail) is a cost- and environmentally-friendly alternative to truckload shipping. This mode offers reliable and consistent capacity due to less competition and is nearly as fast as shipping truckload. If you’re looking to reduce transportation spend by saving on fuel and reducing your carbon footprint, intermodal may be a good option to consider.

DRAYAGE

If you import or export freight using U.S. ports, we now offer a full array of drayage services. With drayage, your freight can be delivered from the port right to your door, or from your door right to the port, saving you money in the process. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team can coordinate pickup and/or delivery on a tight turnaround, for port cut or to get your freight out before the Last Free Day and can help you avoid unnecessary fees.

EXPEDITED

If you need your shipment moved faster than standard LTL transit times allow, we offer expedited shipping options for shipments between one and twelve pallets that weigh under 10,000 pounds. We can schedule for delivery on a tight turnaround, such as for trade shows or short appointment windows, utilize carriers with right-sized vehicles including cargo vans, sprinters, and straight trucks, and arrange for door-to-door transport of your freight via air, when expedited OTR isn’t fast enough.

INTERNATIONAL

Through our relationships with freight forwarders, we can help arrange shipment of your air and ocean dry freight shipments. We can help by having a communication intermediary between you and freight forwarders, assisting with customs clearing, providing access to U.S. customs-bonded storage, and offering additional cargo insurance.

Have other shipping needs that don’t necessarily fall under one of these categories?

We are more than happy to help. If you need heavy haul, liftgate services, specialty transportation equipment, or something else, our dedicated team of logistics professionals is waiting to help find a logistics solution for you.

When it comes to managing your company’s logistics and supply chain, life can quickly get hectic. Needing to seek out carriers for each mode of transportation that you require costs you time, money, and resources. This is why working with a one stop shipping solutions provider can save you from a major headache.

You’ll only need to establish a relationship with one party.

Working with a third-party logistics company (3PL) that is able to provide multiple modes of transportation including truckload, less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and international, as well as technology solutions, gives you an all-in-one avenue to get your freight where it needs to go in the most cost and time-efficient manner.  A 3PL, like Trinity, will assign you to a single sales representative that will be your main point of contact for shipments of any kind, versus needing to establish relationships with multiple representatives across multiple shipping companies.

Time is money.

If you’ve got your employees tied up in rate shopping and tracking shipments, you could be wasting some of your most valuable resources. Whether you’re currently working with multiple 3PLs or routing your shipments through asset-based carriers, you might be wasting more time than you think. By working with a one stop shipping solutions provider, you can free up your team to accomplish bigger and better tasks. Let your  provider do all of the dirty work behind getting your shipments where they need to go.

More volume to one provider means lower shipping rates.

The higher volume of shipments you’re able to provide to a single 3PL, the more leverage they’ll have with carriers to negotiate shipping rates. So, instead of spreading your freight out to multiple providers, choosing a 3PL that can service all of your needs could end up saving you not only time, but money as well.

You’ll be able to simplify your administrative tasks.

After you find multiple different carriers to haul your freight,  you may end up with a pile of invoices bigger than you. Perhaps one of the most relieving aspects of working with a one-stop shop is eliminating the need to pay multiple invoices to a range of carriers. By choosing one logistics solutions provider, you’ll only need to worry about paying a single shipping company.

Aside from the time and money savings, choosing a one-stop shop logistics provider can relieve you from stresses that go along with managing contact lists and invoices. If you’re seeking this kind of provider, Trinity Logistics offers a variety of logistics and shipping services that cater to a variety of industries and customers’ needs.
